About the SAMM-Merseyside Website

As a Registered Charity we have our own Constitution and Code of Confidentiality.

These are administered, via an elected Committee, that contains a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer amongst its members. All the Committee are volunteers who have been effected by an Act of Homicide.

All local SAMM Groups are self supporting from monies raised from within their own areas.

We at SAMM receive a Grant Aid from Liverpool Social Services towards the work that we do.

We also receive a Grant from the Merseyside Probation Service, with which we have a Partnership Agreement under the Victim's Charter.

All other monies are obtained through donations, Charity Nights, Raffles, sale of badges etc. etc.

All the money raised in and around the Merseyside area is used in that area to support and comfort those people that need it. For details of latest fund raising events follow the NEWS link above.
